The Latest

Hey ya'll-

The semester has ended, which is nice, and now summertime in DC is underway. I have to research and write a paper for my advisor, continue to study for comps and work at UMD all summer so things will remain pretty busty. I am also speaking at an FCA camp and hoping to spend some time down and Fripp Island in August before the semester cranks up again.

As you have probably picked up on, I do have a girlfriend now, Jessica Roeger and she is an incredible and amazing young lady. Not only is she a spiritual and theological "stud" but she has revolutionized my cooking habits (she has taught me to cook and eat stuff that is not in a can), made some great cookies and banana bread, met me to hang out at a Civil War battlefield of all places and if you give her 37.5 seconds she can become friends with any stanger she comes across. Well, amen! She has quite a busy summer as well, traveling to Hawaii and Paris and working for an institute through Duke University. I hope to make it down to Raleigh in early June to see her and some of you triangle dwellers. And those of you that don't know her, need to, cause ya'll are missin out!

Also, Bobby Castor moved in this past weekend. He is working for his senator from Ohio and will be residing with me at the SC embassy for the duration of the summer. His second night in DC he beat myself, the Dever family and some of the interns in putt putt. Tan...fastic!

So thats the latest, I will probably not post too much this summer because of traveling and other obligations but hope to see many of you over the coming months.

Until then,
Johnny
